University of Texas Appoints Interim Student Ombuds

UT Austin has promoted Brittany Linton from Assistant Ombuds, a position she has held for the past year, to Student Ombuds ad interim.  She succeeds Lauren Bloom and serves a student population of more than 50,000.


Linton is also a student at UT Austin and is working toward her PhD in Counseling Psychology.  She is a graduate of Colorado College and spent a year studying at Waseda University (UT Austin Student Ombuds.)
