Penn State Ombuds Publishes 2011-12 Report

The faculty Ombuds program at Pennsylvania State reports that it handled 48 matters in the 2011-12 academic year. The Penn State Ombuds program, which comprises about 60 Ombuds coordinated by a University Ombudsperson, resolved 63% of its cases. Only one in five cases were referred to formal processes handled by the Faculty Senate or Human Resources.
