Loyola University New Orleans Appoints Ombuds for Staff

Earlier this year, the private, Jesuit university in Louisiana appointed Robert Reed, to serve as its Staff Ombudsman. Reed works with about 300 employees and continues in his role as Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs.  The university named its first Faculty Ombuds in 2013.  A website for the office went online in July 2014

Reed has worked at Loyola since 1981 and served as Director of Residential Life for nearly three decades. He earned a Bachelors and Masters from Slippery Rock University in Pennsylvania. (LoyNO Staff Ombuds.)
