Job Posting: Savannah State University

The HBCU in Georgia is hiring a University Ombudsperson.  The part-time position serves faculty, staff, and students -- a total population of over 6,000.  The search will fill a position currently held by Danon Holmes.

Applicants must have a bachelor's degree in a related field and training in mediation, conflict or dispute resolution.  A master's degree, experience in a college/university setting preferred, and knowledge of professional Ombuds standards are preferred.  No salary or deadline indicated.  (HigherEdJobs.)

Brittney Diggs (now Brittney Alls), who founded the office in 2012 and helped bring it in line with IOA standards, is the new Ombudsman for the Richland County School District in South Carolina.  (LinkedIn.)
