Washington State University Adds an Ombuds

The public university in Pullman has named Debbie Lee as an Ombudsman, joining Max Kirk and Tena Old in an office that serves nearly 40,000 faculty, staff, and students.

Lee is a professor in the WSU Department of English. She has served on a number of University committees and has training in higher education leadership, mediation, and conflict resolution. She graduated from the University of Calgary, earned an MA at Central Washington University, a PhD at the University of Arizona, and an MFA at Bennington. (WSU Ombuds.)
