International Ombudsman Association Opens Elections for 2017 Board Under New Bylaws

IOA is holding elections for Directors under newly-adopted bylaws that reshaped the membership and board composition.  The election will fill six seats from a slate of seven nominees for three-year terms starting in April 2017.  For the first time, all IOA Members and Retired Members will be eligible to vote.  Also new are board eligibility rules which now required verified Organizational Ombuds experience and IOA membership, and allow for up to two non-Ombuds members.

As it has in the past, the Ombuds Blog provides links to prior posts and public information about the candidates to supplement the official ballot statements, but does not endorse any candidates in particular:

The election concludes in March and results will be announced in April 2017.
